The Pearson Test of English
The Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic is a computer-based
assessment that assesses your English language proficiency for study at
a university or college in an English-speaking country. It is increasingly
recognised by universities and colleges around the world as a valid
measure of English language ability.
The PTE Academic exam assesses all four language skills: listening,
reading, speaking, and writing. Each skill is assessed separately, and the
results are reported on a scale of 10-90, with 10 being the lowest score
and 90 being the highest.
Why TOEFL?
- Application Process
Once you receive your PTE results, you can start applying to universities. The application process typically involves
submitting an application form, academic transcripts, letters of recommendation, a statement of purpose, and
your PTE scores. - Admission Requirements
Each university has its own admission requirements, which may include a minimum PTE score, academic
qualifications, and other criteria. You should thoroughly research the admission requirements of your chosen
universities. - Visa Application
After receiving an acceptance letter from a university, you will need to apply for a student visa. The visa
application process may involve submitting various documents, including your PTE scores, acceptance letter,
financial proof, and a visa application form.
